Beans and Sweet Potatoes "Beswepo Lorraine"

Ingredients

1 pound
black eyed beans
1⁄4 pound
sweet potatoes
   
salt and pepper (to taste)
   
oil for frying

Instructions

How to make Beans and Sweet Potatoes "Beswepo Lorraine"?
1. Soak beans for 15 minutes.
2. Remove skill from beans.
3. Scrub, wash and peel potatoes.
4. Cook beans and sweet potatoes separately till soft.
5. Mash beans, mash sweet potatoes and season well with salt and pepper.
6. Mix mash beans and sweet potatoes and shape into small balls.
7. Fry in hot oil until golden.
8. Drain on kitchen or brown paper.
9. Serve hot or cold.
