London’s biggest African inspired shopping experience returns to the Capital on Monday bank holiday 25th May. Africa at Spitalfields has fast become a popular feature on the calendar of the globally famous Spitalfields, the success of this free event has brought it into its third year. Africa at Spitalfields 2015 visitors can expect to be thrilled by this vibrant celebration of African culture as the Spitalfields traders market is transformed to provide a taste of the exotic without leaving London.
Every month at Old Spitalfields in London arranged by Open The Gate there are small business selling African inspired products. On Saturday’s there are regular Old Spitalfields traders offering a range of fashion, accessories and arts & crafts and then there are themed markets. Here we meet Aunt Gee's stall and try their range of ‘Shitto’ at The African Market.
