The beautifully dressed and charismatic Pastor Andrews is the preacher of the Church of Grace in Gyetiase. One day early in our visit we were sitting down to a lunch of pasta and sauce when someone asked what the name of the pastor was. We all looked confused and said "spaghetti". We then realised this was not the question being asked and from then on the dish was know as Pasta Andrews.


onion (quartered)
tomatoes (400g tins of)
2 tablespoons
tomato puree
carrot (chopped)
200 grams
chopped green beans
chicken stock cube (Maggi)
curry powder
Fresh rosemary
bay leaf
garum massala


How to make Pasta and Sauce?

Heat the oil in the pan and fry the onion with the curry powder and garum masala.

Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Mix the stock cube with some boiling water and add the tomato puree. Add to the tomato sauce mixture, and add vegetable and herbs. season and serve.
