Burgundy Beef Kebabs


3 pounds
steak (rump, butt or cube)
whole mushrooms (tin of large)
sweet peppers (cut into 1" squares)
onion (small)
tomatoes (small)


How to make Burgundy Beef Kebabs?
1. Cut meat into 1" cubes.
2. Combine marinade in large bowl, add meat cubes and refrigerate overnight.
3. String meat, mushrooms, pepper, onions, etc. alternately on skewers, grill over coals or under stove grill. Serve with plain boiled rice.


For Marinade
1/4 pt. olive oil
6 tbsp. red burgundy
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. dry thyme
2 tbsp. chopped celery
1 onion, coarsely chopped
salt and black pepper
