Description

Cocoa Cakes using oil for shallow frying.

Ingredients

4  
cocoa (medium sized fresh)
1⁄2  
flaked fish (smoked or steamed optional)
1  
onion (medium sized minced)
1  
pepper (large)
3  
fresh tomatoes (ground)
   
salt to taste
   
oil for shallow frying

Instructions

How to make Cocoa Cakes?
1. Scrub, wash and peel and grate cocoa.
2. Add other ingredients.
3. Beat with a wooden spoon or hand until mixture drops easily.
4. Heat oil, fry spoonfuls on both sides until golden brown.
5. Serve hot on its own or with gravy.
