Dr Pamela A.S Greene author of Favourite Sierra Leone Recipes is a Black Hero in the Hall of Fame.

Pam was a scientist nutritionist, home economist and free-lance consultant in health communication. She pursued a course in Nutrition at the University of London and returned to Sierra Leone in 1964 as Sierra Leone’s first trained nutritionist. She was appointed as the first head of the Home Economics Department at Njala University.

For the next few weeks as we head into April, I will be discussing 'Palm Oil' to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the end of the war in SL, along with Sierra Leone Independence. Think of the next month as The Palm Oil Month and we would love to get feedback on your views and the future.
