Casserole of Chicken Meat and Poultry
How to make Casserole of Chicken?
1. Divide chicken into meat joints, season each piece, then dip into seasoned flour.
2. Melt fat in a frying pan and when quite hot quickly brown the joints of chicken in it. Also fry the mushrooms or carrots.
3. Place chicken, carrots and/or mushrooms in a casserole.
4. Pour on cheese sauce, cover the casserole with a lid before placing it in the oven. Cook slowly for about 1 hour.
Serves approximately 6-8 people.
INGREDIENTS:
1 whole chicken
1 tbsp. seasoned flour
2-3 ozs. butter
1/2 lb. mushrooms or diced carrots or both
1 pt. thin cheese sauce
