Description

A fusion of Jamaican jerk and Italian pasta finished with a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

850 grams
raw prawns (de-veined)
1 tablespoon
Dunn's River Ginger, Garlic and Pimento Seasoning
1 tablespoon
Dunn's River Jamaican Jerk Seasoning (Choose from 'Hot' or 'Mild' based on your own chilli heat preference)
1 package
penne pasta (packet boiled and drained)
30 grams
butter
2 cloves
garlic (minced)
1  
onion (chopped medium )
2  
stalks spring onion (chopped)
225 grams
full cream
1⁄2 teaspoon
salt
1⁄2 teaspoon
black pepper
400 grams
sweetcorn (can drained)
1⁄2  
red pepper (medium-size, chopped)
1⁄2  
green pepper (medium-size, chopped)
1⁄2  
yellow pepper (medium-size, chopped)
225 grams
cheddar cheese (grated)

Instructions

How to make Creamy Jerk Prawn Pasta?

1. Cook penne pasta according to 'instructions on package; drain and set aside.
2. Heat butter in a pan.overo medium high heat and sauté garlic, onion and spring onion. Add prawns, jerk Seasoning, cream; salt and pepper and mix,well:
3. Fold in the pasta, sweetcorn and sweet • peppers and stir well to combine. Sprinkle on the, cheddar cheese and stir well. Serve with a simple garden salad and enjoy!
