Ingredients

1  
large hen (cooked until very tender)
2 cups
rich chicken broth
4 ounces
egg noodles (or spagetti)
6 tablespoons
butter
6 tablespoons
flour
1 1⁄2 teaspoon
salt
1⁄2 teaspoon
pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon
celery salt
2 tablespoons
sherry or rum
1  
mushrooms (large tin)
3 tablespoons
parsley (minced)
1⁄2 cup
grated cheese marjoram (to taste)

Instructions

How to make and cook Chicken Supreme?

1. Cut hen into fairly small pieces.
2. Cook noodles in boiling water (salted) until tender; drain. Melt butter, add flour and blend.
3. Add seasonings and chicken broth. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring frequently.
4. Remove from heat, stir in sherry, mushrooms, parsley, noodles and chicken. Pour into 2-quart buttered casserole, top with cheese. Bake in 350°F oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
