Spaghetti Supper

Serves 4-6


1 pound
minced steak
onions (medium chopped)
1 clove
garlic (crushed)
1 can
peeled tomatoes (1 (15 oz.) tin)
1 can
tomato paste (1 (6 oz.) tin)
1 cup
stock or water (1 1/2-2)
1 tablespoon
chili powder
salt (and freshly ground black pepper)
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
oregano (or pimento)
8 ounces
spaghetti (broken)
onion rings (and/or sweet pepper to garnish)
Parmesan cheese


How to cook and make Spaghetti Supper?

1. Heat pan, add mince and brown quickly, breaking up with wooden spoon. Stir in onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, stock or water, chili, seasoning, sugar and oregano.
2. Cover and heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add the spaghetti, and stir to separate strands. Simmer, covered, a further 30 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Stir frequently. Add onion rings and/or pepper 10 minutes before cooking time is completed. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
