Did you know there's around 250 bee species in Great Britain?
Most of these are solitary bees and bumblebees, but there are species of honey bee.

They may be tiny but bees are essential for a healthy environment and healthy economy. But right now, the bees are in trouble. Since 1900, the UK has lost 20 species of bee, and a further 35 are at risk.

We need to know more about brilliant bees, and find out how to get the county buzzing again with bee-friendly plants in gardens, streets and communities.
